Mercer County, WV (WOAY) – Bluefield University will host an open house this Friday to showcase the Alumni Hall Dormitory, which is reopening in the fall after significant renovation.
The project cost $800,000; the hall needed major repairs after deterioration and fire damage. All of the rooms have gotten new bathrooms, resurfaced ceilings and flooring, and updated cabinets and countertops.
The university says the renovations will allow it to expand on-campus enrollment.
