Bluefield State Named Top “RN to BSN” Online Program in West Virginia

WOAY – Bluefield State College has been named the top online “RN to BSN” program in West Virginia, according to a recent survey done by RegisteredNursing.org.

The rankings, in their fourth year, take into account if institutions are accredited, offer online programs, and their ratio of total nurse program completions compared to total program completions by the institution, among other factors.

According to Bluefield State’s website, their “RN to BSN” program is a “2 + 2” program, combining online classes with in-person training, which can be completed in three to four semesters, as those with Associate’s Degrees would earn Bachelor’s Degrees in three to four semesters.

Fairmont State was second in the rankings, followed by Marshall, Davis & Elkins, and WVU-Parkersburg.
