Bluefield, WV (WOAY) – The City of Bluefield held a ribbon cutting Thursday for its new splash pad at Lotito Park.
The city was hoping for a July Fourth opening, but due to delays in construction from weather, the opening was postponed until today, the 17.
Ron Martin, the Mayor of Bluefield, West Virginia, says the splashpad will be open until September, when work crews will begin preparing for the Holiday of Lights.
