Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) -Beckley’s babe ruth league officially got the season underway Monday evening!
It comes after rain delays and scheduling conflicts forced opening day back by a week.
The first pitch was finally thrown out by beckley mayor Ryan Neal.
The league runs all summer long and features 83 players across 8 teams.
