BECKLEY, WV (WOAY)- The group Downtown Pulse will be hosting their 2nd monthly event called 2nd Saturdays. This event is a way to help promote and support the local businesses in downtown Beckley.
This event will feature the 10 different businesses downtown, multiple vendors, music, and the WV Hive-sponsored Part Tee golf business. This month they’ve included a passport activity for people to visit the various businesses. This activity includes a chance to win a prize.
“Once you collect all the stars, you can turn in your passport to either Tiffany’s on Main, the Uptown Dish, or the Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce. And on the second Saturday of August, we’re going to do a drawing for a gas grill. And that gives you the drawing. And you can do it as many times as you want,” said Tiffany Kapp, the owner of Tiffany’s on Main.
The event starts at 11 am and runs to 3 pm on Saturday, the 12th.
