Beckley Sanitary Board is urging residents to be cautious of what they flush down the toilet

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – The Beckley Sanitary Board wants to remind all residents of what you can and cannot flush down the toilet.

The Beckley Sanitary Board says that toilet paper should be the only thing you flush.  They say flushable wipes, paper towels, and cleaning wipes should not be flushed. These items can clog up the sewer pipes, causing significant problems.
