RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Beckley kids are on Spring Break.
Vacation Bible School is a great way for the Salvation Army Red Shield youth to enjoy their time off.
The kids journeyed to the Glade Springs indoor pool, dove into interactive Bible studies, and experienced a biblical times atmosphere.
“All of our kids are here. They are having an absolute blast, and I am having an absolute blast with them,” said Director Emma Harvey. “They need to know the love of Jesus whenever times get hard. As they get older, I want them to look back at what they learned here and know that God loves them, he will protect them through everything, and we love them.”
For third-grader Cleah Radford, it’s more than just Bible learning.
“I love being here because it’s an awesome time doing activities and gym and crafts,” Radford said.
It’s Kingston Releford’s second year.
“Not just the fact that you have Vacation Bible School; you have the gym, you have everything, and it’s so fun too,” said the fourth-grader.
