BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – The Beckley Rotary Club provided snack boxes today to First Responders.
This is the sixth year in a row that the club has either fed or provided meals to first responders on September 11th. Members of emergency service departments picked up their boxes at the Stewards Individual Placements office between 11 am and 3 pm today.
“This is the sixth year that the Beckley Rotary has shown appreciation to our first responders by putting together snack boxes of considerable size,” said Beckley Rotary Community Service Chairman Carol McCarthy. “Those first responders can grab and go and have snacks, just helping morale in general.”
