Beckley, WV (WOAY) If you want to hear directly from the people running for office, there’s an opportunity coming up in Raleigh County.

The Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 2026 Future Forward Business Summit & Meet the Candidates Forum and Breakfast on Wednesday, April 8, at the Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center.

Registration and check-in begin at 7:00 a.m., with the forum and breakfast running from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m.
Admission is free, but organizers ask attendees to RSVP in advance at the Beckley Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce website.
The event precedes the 2026 West Virginia Primary Election, in which more than 2,600 candidates are seeking office at the state, county, and municipal levels.
All 100 seats in the West Virginia House of Delegates and 19 State Senate seats will be on the ballot.
Organizers say the forum will give voters and the business community a chance to hear candidate priorities and ask questions about issues impacting Raleigh County and West Virginia.
