Beckley Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce held its 3rd Leadership Beckley class graduation

DANIELS, WV (WOAY) – Beckley Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce held its 3rd Leadership Beckley class graduation. There were over 20 graduates recognized during the ceremony.

“They’re gaining so much through this leadership Beckley group through the chamber. Because we are developing leaders living here, working and we’re going to be giving back here. And then we’re going to be inspiring others. Everyone in Leadership Beckley is through different organizations. There is so many different industries that are involved in this and here we are together networking and then creating projects out of this to empower our community,” said Office Manager for Division of Rehabilitation Services Alyce Almond.

The ceremony was facilitated through the Raleigh County Chambers of Commerce. This year the graduates took on two new projects. They helped Mac’s Toy Fund and set up an endowment called the Giving Circle.

“It’s important to bring young people into the fold so that we can continue to move our community forward. It is very important that we sustain all the great assets that exist in our community and the great things that those have done before us in Beckley Raleigh County is very important,” said President and CEO of Beckley Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce Michelle Rotellini.
