Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – The city of Beckley has received state funding to cover spay and neuter surgeries for residents.
The voucher will cover the cost of spay or neuter surgery and a rabies vaccine.
The animal must live in a house within the city limits of Beckley and be up to date on vaccinations. The program is limited to two free surgeries per household.
Beckley Veterinary Hospital and Crab Orchard Veterinary Hospital are both participating in the program. You can schedule an appointment with either one, and then call the city to fill out paperwork and collect the voucher.
