Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – A Beckley man has been sentenced to federal prison for selling fentanyl while working as a support counselor at a substance abuse treatment center.
Michael Reynard Penn was arrested in 2023 after selling 27 grams worth of fentanyl to a confidential informant for $1,600.
Police raided his home and found cocaine, marijuana, a handgun, and nearly $5,000 in cash.
Penn will spend nearly two and a half years behind bars.
