Beckley Holiday Market to undergo fresh start as Beckley Downtown Market with ribbon cutting ceremony on January 23

Beckley, WV (WOAY) A popular downtown shopping event in Beckley is getting a fresh start for the new year.

Entrepreneur and farm owner Sarah Carter of Lavender Hill Roost is continuing her collaboration with the City of Beckley and the Beckley Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce.
Carter will carry the success of Beckley’s Holiday Market into what has transformed into Beckley’s Downtown Market.
The shop will open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 101 Main Street in downtown Beckley.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is happening on Friday, January 23, at noon to mark the official opening.
Shoppers can expect a wide variety of locally made and handcrafted goods, including custom art, embroidery, West Virginia maple syrup, local honey and jams, lavender products, fresh eggs and breads, sweet treats, jewelry, metal art, wood-turned items, and more.
Organizers say Beckley’s Downtown Market continues to support local entrepreneurs and small businesses while helping keep downtown Beckley active and connected.
