Beckley, WV (WOAY) – Beckley firefighters climb another step in rank.
According to a post on the City of Beckley Facebook page, on Monday March 31, 2025, a promotions ceremony was held at Beckley City Hall.
Beckley Mayor Ryan Neal administered the Oath of Office to Lt. Todd Canterbury and FFC Justin Crook.
Lt. Todd Canterbury was promoted to the rank of Captain. Lt. Canterbury is the Shift Commander for B-Shift.
FFC Justin Crook was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. and is the station commander on B-Shift at Station 3.
Chief Thompson and the City express their gratitude to these gentlemen and look forward to watching as they lead the men of B-Shift.
