Beckley Chick-Fil-A locations gain enthusiastic new operators

RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The Harper Road and Beckley Galleria Chick-fil-A locations showered their new owners with love.

The two West Virginia natives can’t wait to bring great local flavor to the Beckley community.

The entrepreneurs have a passion for poultry, like chicken legend Richard Jarrell, who recently retired.

“This has been a 20-plus-year-long dream of mine to be an entrepreneur in West Virginia and serve the people of West Virginia. Being able to interact with guests. It’s being able to share a smile. It’s being able to hear their stories,” said Harper Road’s new owner/operator Chad Fisher.

Fisher tells people he is doubly blessed.

“I’m blessed to be able to do what I’ve been passionate about, wanting to do my entire life, to be a small business owner and entrepreneur, and do it in the only place in the world I ever wanted to do it, here in the beautiful state of West Virginia.”

And according to Beckley Galleria’s new owner/operator, Kelsey Delgado, her’s is a dream five years in the making.

“I think Chick-fil-A was the first time I felt like my strengths, my passion, and my values aligned into an opportunity,” Delgado said.

There is so much she loves about the poultry chain.

“Our quality is excellent. Our commitment to food safety is excellent. Our commitment to hospitality is excellent,” Delgado says it’s hard to find a company organizationally and within the restaurant where a group of people align on a commitment of serving their guests excellently day in, day out. “And being the world’s most caring company day in, day out. What’s not to love about Chick-fil-A?
