Oak Hill, WV (WOAY): While the U.S. president isn’t on the ballot this year, West Virginia voters will decide plenty of other important races this Tuesday.
Key races across the state include who will represent West Virginia in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
In West Virginia’s state government, every House of Delegates seat is up for election, as well as half of the state senate seats.
Key county commissioner roles will also be decided in local races.
To check who is on the ballot in your county, visit the West Virginia Secretary of State’s website or ballotpedia.org.
Also keep in mind: last year, state lawmakers passed a bill tightening voting requirements, so be sure to bring a photo ID with you when you head to the polls this Tuesday.
