Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – Raleigh County students return to school next week.
Local faith leaders and community members aim to provide spiritual protection for students entering the upcoming school year.
They will host a back-to-school prayer rally this evening at 6:00 pm.
The rally will be held at Woodrow Wilson, Shady Spring, Liberty, and Independence high schools.
While the event is taking place at local high schools, the rally is dedicated to praying for students in all grade levels and schools across the area.
If you can’t attend in person, you can still participate by praying for a safe, successful school year from wherever you are at 6:00 pm in solidarity.
