Attorney General Nominee joins Ben Salango bus tour in Fayette County

OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – One of the guests at the Fayette County stop for Ben Salango today was Sam Petsonk.

Petsonk is the Democratic nominee for Attorney General in the upcoming election. He feels that his campaign is an important challenge, particularly for protecting the pay, health and safety of school service personnel. Petsonk is running against sitting Attorney General Patrick Morrisey.

“I’m a ninth generation West Virginian,” said Petsonk. “I worked for Senator Byrd in Washington while he was still with us. I learned a lot from Senator Byrd. I’ve been a labor lawyer representing working people, benefits, retirees, healthcare throughout my life. That’s the kind of leadership and service that our state should be given to us.”

Petsonk is hoping to listen to school service personnel and make sure that the public servants understand the needs of their public employees.
