Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) – The fight over West Virginia’s law that would define girls and boys sports by biological sex could be headed to the Supreme Court.
Attorney General J.B. McCuskey submitted a filing, asking the United States’ highest court to hear a case deciding whether or not the state’s law can be enforced.
McCuskey said in a statement that the Supreme Court’s decision to allow Tennessee to ban puberty blockers for transgender children makes him confident that the court will rule in favor of the state of West Virginia.
