Hinton, WV (WOAY) – Summers County girls basketball faced a stretch of five games in six days last week. The Lady Bobcats would go on to win them all, led by senior Brittney Justice, who averaged more than 20 points a game in the wins.
The week started with a win in Fairmont against defending Class A state champion Gilmer County, and continued with results against Richwood, PikeView, Tygarts Valley, & Clay County.
Brittney isn’t the only key player for the Lady Bobcats this year; twin sister Whittney and junior Hannah Taylor are among the leading team scorers.
Summers County is next in action at Valley on Wednesday.
