Martinsburg, WV (WOAY) – A Berkely County man has been arrested for allegedly burning an energy transformer.
According to the Office of the West Virginia State Fire Marshal, 45-year-old Travis Thomas Gue of Martinsburg was arrested and charged on Sunday May 18, 2025, with third-degree arson for a fire that happened at a ground-mounted transformer located in the Crestview Drive area of Martinsburg, WV. The fire occurred on May 1, 2025.
Gue is also being charged with fleeing on foot, disorderly conduct and obstructing an officer after Gie attempted to run while being arrested by Berkeley County Sheriff’s deputies.
Gue is currently at the Eastern Regional Jail on a $30,000.00 surety/property bond.
