Beckley, WV (WOAY) A local support group is continuing its efforts to help stroke survivors and caregivers build meaningful lives after stroke.
The monthly ARH support group meets on the first Thursday of each month and provides educational information, resources, and opportunities for connection.
The next meeting is on Thursday, September 3, at 10:00 am at the Raleigh County Commission on Aging and is centered on setting realistic goals and dealing with frustration.
Upcoming topics include preventing burnout, creative outlets, and accessing local services and transportation.
