Are you prepared for an emergency?

West Virginia (WOAY) – As we enter flood season, the United Way of West Virginia suggests having a go bag ready.

Some items they suggest having in your go bag are a flashlight, batteries, and a first aid kit.

You should also consider prescription medications, extra prescription glasses, and extra clothes.

When planning for an emergency, they suggest having some non-perishable food and water for at least three days in case first responders can’t get to you right away.
