Hico, WV (WOAY) An event focused on hope, healing, and recovery is coming to Fayette County this week.
The Appalachian Recovery will host the Adventures for a Recovery Event on Wednesday, June 24, from noon until 4:00 p.m. at 286 Sunday Road in Hico.
Organizers say the event is designed to bring together individuals, families, and community members for a day of support, encouragement, and connection.
Attendees can enjoy live music from Dwain Sheppard, inspiring speakers, outdoor activities, free food, and access to recovery resources and support services.
The event’s theme is “Recover. Connect. Rise.” and organizers hope it will help strengthen the recovery community across southern West Virginia.
