Following Friday’s storms, many were left without power. We have the updates on these outages.
According to Appalachian Power, power is expected to be restored at 11 pm on December 21st.
At the peak of the storm, Appalachian Power says around 52,000 customers did not have power. At 4pm, around 5700 West Virginia customers did not have power.
After their current assessment, 44 broken utility poles, 14 damaged transformers, and 250 spans of downed wire were discovered by crews.
