Apartment fire in Oak Hill extinguished by three agencies

OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – Three local fire departments responded to an apartment fire in Oak Hill last night.

Crews responded to reports of an ongoing apartment fire at 9:21 last night at the Maple Court Apartments.

The fire department said there was heavy fire and smoke on the second floor of one of the buildings. Firefighters were able to get inside and put it out.

The fire did not spread out of the building or past the second floor, and the fire department said that everyone in the apartment got out safely.

The Oak Hill Fire Department was supported by Fayetteville Fire Department Station 3 and the City of Mount Hope Fire Department.
