PRINCETON, WV (WOAY) – The Princeton Health Care Center announces another employee has tested positive for COVID—19.
“This past week we began Covid testing of all residents and staff after learning that one of our staff members tested positive. As of today, we have tested 188 staff and 102 residents. One additional staff member has tested positive for Covid-19. Both employees are recovering at home. There are no confirmed/suspected resident cases at this time.
Our team has increased resident monitoring, and we continue to screen and monitor staff for signs/symptoms of Covid-19 at the beginning of each shift. Our staff continues to use appropriate protective equipment as well. Staff are as always, encouraged to not come to work if they feel ill.”
Visitation of residents remains suspended until further notice.
