Beckley, WV (WOAY) A local community walk this fall will bring people together in Remembrance, hope, and support.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) West Virginia Chapter will host the Beckley-Raleigh County Out of the Darkness Community Walk on Saturday, September 19.
Attendees will meet at the Crossroads Mall, with check-in beginning at 10:00 a.m., and the walk starting at 11:00 am.
The walk is dedicated to providing an opportunity for people to honor loved ones and recognize the impact of suicide and mental health conditions.
Organizers are encouraging people to register now for this year’s event.
