Macarthur, WV (WOAY)-All four lanes of the Macarthur bridge will reopen on Monday, August 26.
The bridge on WV 16 near Mabscott and MacArthur has been closed since June 2023 as part of a cleaning, painting, and rehabilitation project.
The opening marks the end of phase 2, but as the project enters the final stage, additional lane closures may follow.
The West Virginia Department of Transportation anticipates construction to be complete by Spring 2025.
