Agencies work to rescue person trapped in vehicle

WYOMING COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Several agencies are working to free the occupant of a vehicle after a car accident.

Dispatchers say they received a call around 3:30 p.m. about a single car accident on Route 54. It’s unclear how many people were in the vehicle, but one person is trapped inside. The severity of any injuries is unclear.

Mullens and Lester fire departments responded along with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office and Jan Care ambulance.
