Active Weather Week – Also Above Average

We have had a pretty calm past couple of days, this will be coming to an end as we head into the week ahead. Rain chances will return Tuesday and then again from Thursday – Sunday. Looking ahead into what the future radar could look like on Christmas Day, rain should be occurring for most people during the morning hours. That rain could be lingering through the afternoon hours for some people, although this should not be a washout!

This is a look at how much rain we could be expecting throughout the area, most people stay below half an inch. Isolated areas could pick up three quarters of an inch of rainfall, but again, not a total washout through the next 7 days!

I alluded to a warm up and here it is! Temperatures go up to the 60’s for some of us Christmas Day through potentially Saturday. Rain chances do appear most likely on Tuesday and Thursday, although Sunday is a day to keep an eye on as more data becomes available. It could be another likely rain day for most of the area.

I hope everyone has a great Christmas week!
