SANDSTONE, WV (WOAY) – Active Southern West Virginia has partnered up with Summers County Public Library to give children an opportunity to stay active while learning on the go.
Elementary kids who visit the Summers County Public Library Bookmobile on Wednesdays in Sandstone can take a break from reading and classwork to participate in an agility course.
“We want to get kids active who are in school right now or don’t have other opportunities otherwise. Our whole organization is about providing free physical activities to kids,” Youth Program Director, India Krawczyk said.
The agility course will be offered every Wednesday from 9 am to noon at the Bookmobile.
