Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) –Â ACE Adventure Resort is hosting the Ramp It Up Festival on Saturday, April 18th, at The Lost Paddle Bar and Grill.
The festival celebrates the wild ramp, a seasonal Appalachian ingredient with a flavor described as a cross between onion and garlic.
An all-you-can-eat buffet will feature dishes ranging from wood-fired ramp pizza and ramp chowder to ramp ice cream with salted caramel sauce.
Live music from Andrew Adkins and The Hillbilly Biscuits will be featured throughout the day.
The festival begins at 2 p.m. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door and include full access to the buffet and entertainment.
