OAK HILL, WV (WOAY)- ACE Adventure is known for its fun summer thrills in Fayette County. However, they have some fun in the off-season that you are all invited to join.
Every Friday, Lost Paddle at ACE holds a trivia night to bring the community together for some fun. It typically goes from 7-9 pm during the off-season.
During these, they offer $12 all-you-can-eat pizza and sometimes themed drinks. Every time they host one, there’s a theme that its based on like, sports, food, Harry Potter, and more. This past Friday, they held a Star Wars trivia night in honor of May the Fourth being tomorrow!
What started off as a fun way to bring people in during the off-season, has grown to a fun community event.
“I know over the past couple of years since we started, it was a really small trivia crowd, and then it’s just grown over time. I feel like people really like the different things that we do, and it always makes them feel like they’re going to learn something, regardless of whether they think that they know what they’re doing when they come in,” said Lindsey Pratt, the special events assistant and wedding coordinator at ACE. “But there are also times when they’ll come in and they have no clue what’s going on, but they’re still here to have a good time. They want to eat pizza, learn some stuff, and just like socialize.”
