Beckley, WV (WOAY) Spring community education is now open at the Academy of Careers and Technology (ACT), offering a variety of classes designed to promote learning and social development.
Organizers say a key focus of community education is building relationships by connecting people with shared interests.
Programs and activities are developed around what matters most to the community, giving participants the chance to explore hobbies and develop new skills in a welcoming environment.
Classes are open to the public and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
To register, stop by the ACT office at 390 Stanaford Road in Beckley during normal business hours, Monday-Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
