Greenbrier County, WV (WOAY) – Fire crews respond to a structure fire in Greenbrier County on Saturday, January 3, 2025.
Initial reports came in that the fire occurred on a property within the Greenbrier Resort.
According to a media advisory, the fire occurred at a privately owned residence within the Greenbrier Sporting Club.
The Greenbrier Resort Fire Department took quick action along with neighboring departments to get the fire under control.
According to the media release, the residence is not in close proximity of the main hotel and at no time were any of the historic structures at America’s Resort, or any nearby homes, threatened.
Officials with the Greenbrier resort would like to extend its sincere gratitude to the first responders who assisted in managing the incident.
