A Rainy Week Ahead

We have been in a little dry spell over the past few days, but that will come to an end as we are tracking numerous systems into this next week! Looking ahead at Thursday, it appears widespread rain could once again be in the forecast for much of the area. This shouldn’t be washout rain for everyone, but some areas could receive quite a bit.

Looking ahead to the forecast rainfall, with the GFS model, which is the conservative one. Even with it being conservative, it is still showing over an inch and a half of rainfall in some areas. The European model is a lot more bullish with the rainfall, up to 3 inches in places. Long story short, there will be rain and quite a bit of it over the week ahead.

Decreasing clouds Sunday will lead to another dry day Monday. Rain appears Tuesday through Saturday, with specific days like Tuesday and Friday being a little more likely.
