FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – Active Southern West Virginia is planning to hold in-person events again after a hiatus during the pandemic.
Recently they’ve been holding online events to encourage community members to head outside, but starting in July they’ll be switching back to in-person activities. Melanie Seiler, the executive director of Active Southern West Virginia says they have many ideas in store for the community.
“So we’re really excited to be offering in-person programs in July. This will be our first time back after the COVID pandemic to have our volunteers offering some walking activities, running, aerobics classes and a couple hikes in the month of July,” Seiler said.
Active Southern West Virginia will release more details on July 1 that detail what activities they’ll be holding and when they will occur.
