GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia Division of Highways announces that Blue Sulphur Springs Road will be closed to through traffic according to James F. Moore, District Nine Maintenance Engineer.
Slope stabilization work will begin on CR 25, Blue Sulphur Springs Road, on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at 7:00 a.m. The project is located approximately one and one half (1-1/2) miles south of the junction with Smoot Road and Grassy Meadows Road. This work will take approximately six (6) weeks to finish and should be completed before Friday, April 17, 2020. Blue Sulphur Springs Road will be closed to through traffic between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, during this period. Local traffic will have access to all properties along Blue Sulphur Springs Road via Smoot Road and Bennett Mountain.
