West Virginia (WOAY) Families caring for children now have a new online resource.
The West Virginia Department of Human Services has launched the WV Kinship Hub, designed to help kinship and foster families identify their needs and connect with available resources.
The hub offers screening tools covering caregiver and child well-being, family and parenting, health, education, finances, and social support.
Users then receive practical next steps and information about resources in their communities.
The hub is private.
Families do not have to provide identifying information, and their responses are not stored in a way that can be linked to them.
The WV Kinship Hub is available online at kinshiphub.bss.wv.gov.
