Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences unveiling “Roar and Explore with Dinosaurs” traveling exhibit on September 26

Charleston, WV (WOAY) Dinosaurs are roaring back to life at the Clay Center in Charleston.

The Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences of West Virginia is preparing to open its new traveling exhibit, “Roar and Explore with Dinosaurs.”

The exhibit features seven animatronic dinosaurs, including a diplodocus, tyrannosaurus rex, and velociraptor, along with an erupting volcano, three-dimensional skeleton puzzles, and a fossil dig pit.

Clay Center members can get a first look during a preview event on September 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The exhibit opens to the public September 26-January 3.

It will also mark the grand opening of the Clay Center’s new traveling exhibit space.
