New River Gorge National Park and Preserve wants your help clearing vegetation away from the historic Homer Nicely House

Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – The New River Gorge National Park and Preserve is asking for the public’s help for a project on Wednesday.

Volunteers are needed to clear vegetation away from the historic Homer Nicely house in Thurmond.

The park says invasive plants are growing over the historic building.

Volunteers can come to the house on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
