Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia Water Festival is underway in the city of Hinton, with a variety of festivities both on land and on the water still in the works.
There will be live music from 5 p.m. to 7:30 tonight and tomorrow night and from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Rivertown stage.
There will be fireworks tomorrow night following a fireman’s parade, a car show, and street dance on Saturday. The event comes to a close Sunday with a kayak race.
City officials say a lot of work goes into planning the event.
