Pipestem, WV (WOAY) It’s a festive weekend at Pipestem Resort State Park with its annual Christmas in July celebration.
The fun kicks off Friday evening with live music from Bowman and Burr, followed by a family movie inside McKeever Lodge.
Saturday, July 25 will feature cartoons on the big screen, photos with Santa, milk and cookies, and even a chance to watch Santa cool off at the Splash Park before more live music and another movie that evening.
The weekend wraps up on Sunday, July 26, with the West Virginia Water Festival Trail Race, offering runners 6.5-, 13-, or 19.5-mile courses beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Park officials say all events are family-friendly and many activities are free to attend.
