ACLU of West Virginia hosting town hall in Lewisburg on April 14 addressing voter concerns regarding precinct and polling location changes

Lewisburg, WV (WOAY) In Greenbrier County, concerns over polling place changes are prompting a community conversation. 

The ACLU of West Virginia is hosting a town hall on Tuesday, April 14, in Lewisburg after receiving complaints from voters about precinct and polling location changes.  

Some residents say the new locations require significantly longer travel times, raising concerns about accessibility and voter turnout.  

State and local election officials are expected to attend, with the goal of answering questions and encouraging open dialogue about voting rights and election procedures.  

The meeting will be at 6:00 pm at the West Virginia Osteopathic School of Medicine’s Clingman Center.
