Pocahontas County, WV (WOAY) – Law enforcement officers in Southern WV are trying to locate a missing person, and they need your help.
According to a post from the Pocahontas County Homeland Security and Emergency Management Facebook page, a 48-year-old Kenneth Allen Williams (“Kenny”) was last seen in the Slatyfork Farms area of Pocahontas County on April 6, 2026, at approximately 9:20 PM. He was getting out of a vehicle driven by his mother, Liz Painter.
Mr. Williams also suffers from mental health issues and was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes.
According to the post, Kenny Williams is from Williamston, North Carolina. He had been picked up earlier in the day in Richmond, Virginia prior to arriving in the area.
Anyone who may have seen Kenneth Williams or has information about his location is asked to call the Pocahontas County 911 Center at 304-799-4567 or the West Virginia State Police at 304-799-4101, immediately.
