Athens, WV (WOAY) Concord University has selected its next provost following a nationwide search.
Dr. Tony Artimisi will step into the role with more than twenty years of experience in higher education.
He most recently served at Winston-Salem State University as Associate Provost of Academic Strategy and Institutional Effectiveness, and has also worked as a department chair and professor of music.
University President Bethany Meighen says Artimisi’s leadership in student success, program development, and institutional strategy makes him a strong fit for the role.
