Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – A Fayette County man has been sentenced to prison for driving on a suspended license and fleeing police.
George E. Legg was arrested back in 2024 after leading sheriff’s deputies on a high-speed chase through the Armstrong Creek area, reaching speeds of 90 miles an hour in a 25-mile-per-hour zone.
He nearly hit an ATV and another car during the chase.
He has been fined $4,000 and will spend 2 years in prison before being eligible for parole.
