Nicholas County, WV (WOAY) – The Summersville Police Department is looking for its next officer.
The department is now accepting applications. They’re offering a starting salary while in the academy of just over $51,000 dollars, and rising to over $55,000 after graduation.
Certified officers will also receive a $5,000 signing bonus.
The application deadline is March 30. A physical fitness test follows on April 1 at Nicholas County Veterans’ Memorial Park.
