Beckley, WV (WOAY) A pop-up art experience celebrating culture and creativity is coming to Beckley this weekend.
“Magic in My Melanin” is a solo art show featuring the work of Jamal “Bubbles” Hoskins.
The Rizo/Bickey pop-up event will showcase powerful portraits and mixed-media pieces highlighting identity and expression.
The show begins Friday, February 27, and continues Saturday, February 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with an open house event on Sunday, March 1, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Guests can enjoy food, drinks, music courtesy of DJ Naybz and Purpose Entertainment, and impactful art pieces.
The event will be held at The Grant Building on Neville Street in Beckley.
Admission is $10 at the door.
